High-quality professional development for teachers
High quality professional development (PD) helps teachers to continuously improve and maintain their teaching practice and develop their careers. The Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards (BOSTES) coordinates a rigorous process of endorsing PD providers. Once endorsed, providers can deliver Quality Teaching Council (QTC) Registered PD that contributes to mandatory requirements for maintaining teacher accreditation.
Information for school providers
Schools will soon be able to apply to become endorsed providers. This will help recognise training and PD run by the school, and support teachers to complete QTC Registered PD hours necessary to maintain their accreditation.

Review the approval process
Once endorsed, you can promote the status of your professional learning offering/s as QTC Registered PD. You may also use the BOSTES QTC logo to help teachers to easily identify the QTC Registered PD available at each of the three levels of accreditation.
