Notes
:
-
TAAs (A/L) may have delegated an Authorised Person/s to act on their behalf.
-
TAAs (A/L) for Professional Accomplishment and Professional Leadership are not necessarily the same people/bodies as TAAs for Professional Competence accreditation.
TAAs (A/L) and the accreditation process
The TAA (A/L) is the person/body who makes the final decision to accredit or not accredit. Candidates submit their application for accreditation with supporting evidence online to their TAA (A/L).
The TAA (A/L) initially reviews a candidate’s submission and makes a recommendation. This recommendation goes to the cross-sectoral Moderating and Consistency Committee (MCC) who make a comparative analysis of a range of reports. They examine submissions and provide advice back to the TAA (A/L) in relation to the Standards and Evidence Guides.
The TAA (A/L) considers their initial recommendation together with advice from the MCC and makes a final accreditation decision.
Further information is available in the Policy and Procedures for Accreditation at Professional Accomplishment and Professional Leadership in Section 2.2.
